What a gem of a place—we were cozy and warm on their patio in December with all the heaters, and the food and wine was so good—I loved the roasted broccoli in a delicious spicy tomato sauce, and my seated scallops were outstanding. My husband loved his short ribs. Our starter of a cheese plate with apples, crostini and honey was also delicious. We will be back!
A cozy, friendly spot with tasty creative cocktails. Covered seating out back is fun with heaters to stay warm.
Lovely local/neighborhood spot. Great for people/first date watching. If you’re not a local, please don’t come. The food is decent and changes regularly, but the drinks are phenomenal bc the resident bar tender is phenomenal. The service is meh — our orders get messed up every time, but the dishes that do get delivered are delicious!
We recently stopped by this place and enjoyed a few cocktails. They were so interesting and fun. I was impressed with the cocktail - “She is Beauty, She is Grace” it was such a beautiful drink. My husband had the “Gonna Get Chip Faced” - we loved the snacks we had too. The atmosphere was super lively! The bar tenders were awesome, I only caught one name though - thanks Olive for the great time! We will be back and highly recommend this spot in the future!
Pretty decent spot for food and cocktails. Nothing here was bad but at the same time nothing stood out to me as amazing. So overall everything will come out as good or okay. Some of the cocktails were a little too sweet and not well balanced.
Best hot toddy ever. Sarah makes them perfectly. I had sardines on baguette, and a beef sandwich with a dip. Both excellent. The spot is small and cozy. It’s basically a bar with a round of seating where you can eat. Not a huge dining location. But for what it is, it’s perfect. I plan on returning.
It seems to be a very popular place, there was a bit of a wait time to be seated. They do have outdoor seating as well. But the wait is totally worth it. The food and drinks are excellent. We ordered a lot. Started with the seared halloumi, which we HIGHLY recommend. The rosemary honey that's drizzled on it is delightful. We then had the charred broccoli, which we also HIGHLY recommend. For the entrée we had the lamb meatballs, so delicious. We ended with trying both the sweets they were offering. The olive oil cake was so light and not overly sweet, which we like. Then the other sweet was the sweet buttermilk biscuit with salted butter and rhubarb jam. These too had just the right amount of sweetness. We also had the Poncho Sombrero combo cocktail along with the Painkiller. Both cocktails were excellent. Chef Cody is bringing the flavors in all the dishes he is serving up! We saw that the menu changes, so we will definitely be back! Also, the hostess Sara had excellent hospitality. Great vibes, the music was so fun, the energy of the bar/restaurant is amazing. From staff to music to even the other patrons. I highly recommend this place. We also heard the owners and chef Cody have another spot in Queen Anne called Bar Miriam. We will definitely be trying that one out soon too.
Really good food for a cocktail bar. And the cocktails were delicious! The marinated sardine was my favorite. Limited seating inside with a patio.
